Musicianship Skills
In addition to learning to sing or play an instrument, many lessons also incorporate other musical skills and activities. These skills are available from all of our instructors.
Sight-reading
Want to learn to read music? In a few lessons, you can begin to understand the structure of musical notation and sing what you see on the page. Learn to read rhythms, intervals, and complete melodies.
Music Theory
Learn music theory, including chord structures, key signatures, rhythm, intervals, and scales. The structure of music is a beautiful and intricate system, and "looking under the hood" can be an exciting learning process.
Studio Recording
Our studio is well-equipped with high-quality recording equipment to record yourself on audio and video. You can record songs right in your lesson using our equipment or schedule a special session to produce a recording.
2 x 1 Lessons
Want to take lessons with your friend, spouse, co-worker, or child? Lessons are also available in pairs. Any lesson can be taught to 2 people (or even 3 or more!) simultaneously. Learn from each other, play instruments together, sing some duets, and enjoy taking the journey together. Ask your instructor about prices for lessons for more than one person.
