What is a Resound NW Studio Gathering?

Studio Gatherings at Resound NW are an opportunity to perform for each other and display what you are learning in your music lessons. There are typically a handful of sing-along songs where the audience is invited to join in. Gatherings are a great opportunity to meet and hang out with the diverse collective of students at Resound.

Participants are invited to bring an offering for our potluck and share in a casual meal together. The event is free and open to the public; feel free to come and go as you need to, or stay for the full event. Family and friends are welcome and encouraged to attend, providing a safe, supportive and fun environment for students to perform in.​

We're delighted to invite you to our next Studio Gathering! Our November 8th gathering will take place at Resound NW ( 1532 SW Jefferson), and will feature three sets between 5p and 8p.

Students: if you are interested in performing at our gathering, please get in touch with your teacher, and they can help you sign up!

This is a relaxed, joyful Studio Gathering. Our Studio Gatherings are an opportunity for our students to perform for each other, to share what they are learning in their music lessons, and for friends and family to support their loved ones. Audiences will be invited to join in on the sing-a-long songs!

Come, bring an offering for our potluck table, or simply bring your self. What better way to celebrate the coziness of Fall than by celebrating the passionate performances of our music students??

Good things to note:
WHEN: Saturday November 8th, 2025 from 5p - 8p. Feel free to come and go as you please.
WHERE: Resound NW 1532 SW Jefferson
WHO: Friends & family of our singers are most welcome, as is the general public. Our concerts are a great opportunity for prospective students to come and see what we do!
​TICKETS: Free! No registration required, just come!
BRING: Something to offer to our Potluck table, if you wish. A snack, main dish, salad, or drink to share is great! Wine is ok, and plates/cups/napkins will be provided.

How can I perform at the next Studio Gathering?

If you would like to perform at the next studio gathering, please let your teacher know your interest and we will work together to make an appropriate plan and prepare for the gathering.  We are so excited for each of you to have this opportunity when you are ready. A pianist will be present to play for you if needed, or you may make other arrangements with your teacher for accompaniment.
